Rubio Statement on Florida District Court Nominee

Miami, FL — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) issued the following statement regarding the nomination of John L. Badalamenti to serve as a federal district court judge for the Middle District of Florida:

“I am pleased the president nominated Judge Badalamenti to serve as a federal district court judge for the Middle District of Florida,” Rubio said. “Judge Badalamenti, who currently serves on the Florida Second District Court of Appeal, is a highly qualified nominee who was identified and recommended by our Judicial Nominating Commission in 2017. I look forward to his confirmation as Senate Republicans continue to fill judicial vacancies by confirming well-qualified judges to the federal bench.”
