Sen. Rick Scott Applauds Passage of Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Rick Scott spoke on the floor in support of the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019, which will give the United States more authority to re-evaluate Beijing’s influence on Hong Kong. Senator Scott is a proud co-sponsor of the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act, and won’t stop fighting until America’s economic and political future — and the freedom of nations across the globe — is secure from the threat of Chinese influence.
